Who we are

Thrive is made by Thrive AI. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Thrive AI, and “Thrive” means the iPhone app together with thriveai.fit.

Using Thrive

You may use Thrive for your own personal training and nutrition tracking. There is no account to create, so you are responsible for the iPhone the app is installed on and for anything logged from it.

• You need to be 16 or over to use Thrive.
• Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
• Do not use Thrive to give training or nutrition advice to other people as though it came from us.

Not medical advice

Thrive estimates energy needs using published equations and the details you enter, and builds routines from your stated experience, equipment and focus areas. Those are estimates, not a clinical assessment. Thrive is a tracking tool, it has not been reviewed clinically, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or qualified coach.

Speak to a qualified professional before making significant changes to how you eat or train, particularly if you are pregnant, managing a health condition, or returning from injury. Training carries a risk of injury and you take that risk on yourself. Stop and seek help if something hurts.

Your data

Everything you log stays in a database on your iPhone. We do not hold an account for you and we cannot recover your history if the app is deleted without a backup. The privacy page sets out what is stored and what we never do with it.

Purchases and the App Store

Thrive is distributed through Apple’s App Store, and your download, any in-app purchase, and any refund are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms rather than ours. Refund requests go to Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app itself, and these terms are between you and us.

Changes to the app

We add, change and occasionally remove features as Thrive develops, and we may stop supporting older versions of iOS. We will not knowingly ship a change that deletes your history, but keeping a device backup is the only way to guarantee it.

Liability

Thrive is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change we will update this page and the date below. Continuing to use Thrive after a change means you accept the updated terms.
